I thought I'd share a little of my nursery scheming so far....
These are some materials I'm looking at for the bedding, mainly the bumper pads, crib blanket, crib skirt, and curtains...
These two are my accents. The solid coral will be used for the bottom of the curtains and probably a couple of pillows for Karlie's crib. The floral print will be used for the wall canvases and one rocker pillow, hopefully in the shape of the letter "K".
These are some bedding inspirations...thoughts??
This is what I'm looking at doing for the curtains, with the solid coral material on the bottom.
This wall mural is what I'm planning for JP to paint over a chair rail above the changing table. Instead of dark brown, it will be painted in white.
Lastly, these will hang on the wall over her crib. I want to wrap the floral material around cork or a canvas, paint the letters on a smaller canvas (giving it a 3D look), and putting each one in a black frame.

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! esp the black and white toile/damask prints. I could do the K for you if you need someone too, or just task me with another craft, you know I'm dying to do something for you and Karlie!
The toile was your crafty geniusness so we thank you! If you want to do the K, I will definitely take you up on that! That would be too wonderful!!
Also, I found that bedding because I had to search toile...I had NO idea what it meant!
Man...that girl swinging pretty much steals one of the gift ideas I had in mind for you guys, but it's done differently, so maybe I'll go ahead... ;) Love you guys - and LOVE the ideas so far!

Are you making all this? I am so impressed. I don't blame you though. I don't like much of anything that is out there for girls right now. I so lucked out finding Caleb's stuff. I am pretty picky even for boys. Guess that is why I bought his stuff before we even knew he was a boy. Knew I would never find anything I liked that much!
I love everything you are looking at doing. So different and not overly pink but really feminine! You are amazing! Karlie is one lucky girl!
How 'bout an update, Jamie??
